Selbstporträt
The artist Ida Maier, née Müller, is little known today, although she created important works for the region. From 1843, Ida was based in Freiburg and captured the landscapes of the Black Forest to Lake Constance in her prints and paintings. This self-portrait shows her with ringlets, aged about twenty-five.
