The manufacture of cigars in the Netherlands. With machine manufacturing in which women lay down the binder, after which machines apply the filler, roll the cigar up and apply the cigar band. Furthermore, manual manufacturing at a cigar factory in Kampen, where men roll the cigars and women apply the band. A machine delivers 5000 cigars per day, but with more loss of tobacco leaves.
