- Long-term loan from the Maatschappij der Nederlandse Letterkunde. Bought by MNL at the sale of art owned by H. Wiegersma, by auctionhouse Mak van Waay (Amsterdam) in 1969.
- Owned by the Sisters of the Common Life of St. Mary of the convent Bethlehem in Nijmegen, according to a 16th-century note on the fly-leaf. It was possibly also produced there.
