Cooper's 'Apprentice Piece' Flask

3D model of a flask made by a cooper at the end of his apprenticeship. He used the same woodworking skills that were required to make herring barrels. Twelve wooden staves were used to make the flask and six brass rings around the outside were used to hold the staves together. Dated. C1880. Physical object held at the Timespan Museum.
